Muslim children are the least reached Muslim age group with the Gospel. This has to do mostly with the attitudes of parents and the Muslim community at large who shield their children from other beliefs and teachings (particularly Christianity) rather than those of Islam.
Ironically, studies have shown that Muslim children are the most receptive ones to the Gospel than any Muslim age group such as the adults.
The recent findings of a DVD show Muslim evangelism ministry in Kenya, show that Muslim children are more likely to be willing to hear the Gospel. They are more of adventurous kind like other children that makes them eager to learn new stories in this case the story of Jesus Christ. Muslim children, like other children, have softer hearts ready to accommodate new teachings as opposed to most adults whose hearts have hardened and are more contentious and easily offended.
The time has come, as we reach to our Muslim brothers and sisters, to also particularly reach Muslim children and plant the seed of truth in their hearts. This will pave the way for their submission to Christ sooner or later.
“The Story of Abdallah” will play a vital role as a seed of truth for Muslim children, not only because it is a story of a fellow Muslim child but because the format in which the story is presented is entertaining and appealling to children and youth.
